Currently working with Applause Entertainment, a leading IP and content creation studio by Aditya Birla Group, Prasoon focuses on strategizing and leading operations for acquisition and management of premium fiction shows, movies, animation, and other forms of content.
During his previous stint with Balaji Telefilms, Prasoon led the Business Strategy and played an instrumental role in transforming the Indian TV production powerhouse into a booming media conglomerate by establishing a revolutionary OTT business, ‘ALT Balaji’. With his innate ability to present the perfect amalgamation of quality content and great business skills, Prasoon is a seasoned professional who brings to the table experience across digital media, television, and motion pictures.
With plans to explore all content formats including films, series, animation, audio, and short-form content along with tactful application of his strong business acumen and managing cross-functional teams across revenue, commercial and business operations, Prasoon remains committed to building brand Applause in his current role as the General Manager and Business Controller.
With a post graduate degree in Biotech and MBA in finance, Prasoon finds himself fortunate enough to work in the entertainment industry and be part of the sector’s growth story.
