Nirmika Singh is a music journalist, lyricist and poet based in Mumbai. A multi-faceted creative leader, she is also the youngest music critic to hold the position of Executive Editor at Rolling Stone India, the Indian edition of the world’s greatest music magazine. As a lyricist, her musical collaborations include those with AR Rahman and Clinton Cerejo, among other composers.
Nirmika’s Hindi poetry project is titled #AurSuno, under which she writes and performs her verses in a gripping show format that combines spoken word and music. She is known for her effortless yet sharp writing style, that marries the colloquial with the poetic. As a millennial writer, Nirmika is articulating the thoughts of young India, one word at a time in Hindi, English and Hinglish.
