Over a decade and a half in media and entertainment – Eka was heading the digital business at MTV from 2010-2015. Revolutionised ‘digital branded content’ and made MTV relevant to the youth again.
He then helped Balaji Telefilms launch their OTT platform – ALT Balaji – and was the Chief Strategy Officer and Creative Director there.
Having worked at Edutech and gaming startups before his MTV stint, the entrepreneurship bug got to him. He’s currently running a fashion-tech company OMI which uses Computer Vision AI to solve the sizing problem in ecom and also runs a Creative-tech company FusedBulb which helps brands and companies with their Web3 and blockchain strategy.
He’s also the host of the extemely popular and must-listen podcast called Future-Proofing – which is all about Web3, Crypto and the metaverse! Diving into how blockchain tech is going to disrupt various industries.
