Aparna Ramachandran is the Executive Vice President & Head of Network Digital – Central at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, where she leads the central digital content strategy across the network. In this role, she oversees digital-first programming, original content development, platform partnerships and the network’s broader digital roadmap. She brings extensive experience in developing and commissioning content across OTT and digital platforms.
With close to two decades of experience across media, entertainment and technology, Aparna has held senior creative and content roles at Balaji Telefilms, Viacom18’s Voot, Viu and FremantleMedia, along with earlier stints across Miditech, Big Synergy, BBC Worldwide, CNBC-TV18 and Bloomberg UTV. Prior to Zee, she spent five years at Balaji Telefilms, most recently as Head of Digital Originals, where she led digital content development across platforms including JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar. She began her career as a Software Engineer at Infosys before moving into media and entertainment.
