A marketing dynamo with an experience of over 18 years in business development, marketing and content partnerships, Abhishek has worked with some of the best media conglomerates of the country. He started his career with the ABP Group in 2001 and has since worked with Reliance Big Pictures, Sony Entertainment Network, Zenga Media and Sony Pictures Network India.
He has risen to the very top of marketing in the media – entertainment industry, and over the course of his career, he has conceptualised and executed some of the biggest and most successful media brand campaigns, driven digital performance and has also run a successful start-up.
Abhishek holds a track record in strategy, business planning and execution expertise, spanning television networks, internet video, content distribution, ad agencies and brand licensing & marketing.
Currently, as the Head of Marketing & Business Partnerships at MX Player, he has the mandate to build the latest entrant into the OTT space as a brand to reckon with.
Abhishek is known to be a history buff and confesses to being a sports junkie; he has played under-19 cricket for his home state Odisha, and is a long distance runner.
